Our performance scores are calculated using a weighted combination of key financial ratios across five core themes: Profitability, Efficiency, Liquidity, Financial Gearing, and Investor Performance. Each metric is benchmarked against industry-standard thresholds to generate a score between 0.5 and 5.0.
The scoring methodology is designed to provide a quick visual assessment of a company's financial health. However, these scores should be used as a starting point for further research rather than as definitive investment recommendations.
Where financial data is not disclosed in company filings (such as interest expense), we apply reasonable estimates based on industry conventions. For example, when interest payable is not available, we estimate it at 5% of long-term debt. All such assumptions are clearly indicated on the relevant pages.
